To promote the development and implementation of education models that embrace inter-professional education and collaborative practice.

Dr. Mercy Pindani, Principal KCN, with CHI XI at Large leaders, inductees SIGMA THETA Conference 2019

      • Participated in the Second Inter-professional Education and Collaborative Practice (IPECP) for Africa conference that took place at the Amref International University, Nairobi, Kenya from July 30 to August 2 2019. Six members, 4 PhD candidates and 2 Faculty members from Kamuzu College of Nursing attended the conference. Their accepted abstracts were on work is related to IPECP.
      • Hosted the CHI XI at Large – SIGMA THETA International Conference in August 2019.The Theme was Community based health care initiatives: Back to basics. The inter-professional conference discussed issues under seven themes.
      • ENHEIT/STRIPE HIV Project on 25-26th January, 2020.
      • 20th Global HOPE Pediatric Oncology Seminar 5-6th February, 2020.
      • Developed inter-professional educational curriculum MSc. in Health Leadership Management and Policy and BSc. in Leadership and Management.
